Local radio station WILD 104 FM will feature three acts in the annual “Jingle Jam” at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, at the Pharr Events Center.

Model, actress and now singer Nayer will be performing at the event. She’s best known for her featured work on Pitbull’s song “Give Me Everything,” which reached the top on “Billboards” Hot 100 chart.

As a teen, Nayer tried a career as a singer of dance hits and had moderate success with a song called “First Kiss (Primer Beso).”

Also slated to perform is Houston’s Lil Playy, a rapper known for his freestyle. He recently released his first single “Birthday Dress,” featuring singer Matthew Koma.

Joining the roster is Kreayshawn, a rapper from Oakland, Calif., who, earlier this year, racked up more than three million hits on YouTube when she uploaded her video for the song “Gucci Gucci.” She then signed a record deal.

She caused a stir when she made comments in an interview with “Complex” about fellow rapper Nicki Minaj, saying “… no disrespect to (Nicki Minaj) because she’s got talent. She’s got an image. But when it comes to inspiring young women, her message is to be a Barbie—to be plastic, to be fake, to all have blond hair.”
